Curated by Seju Alero Mike of OSENGWA, and featuring the artistic creations of Ramon Shitta, Ifedolapo Arolawun and Noah Okwudini, Beyond the Seenexplores the convergence of art, spirituality, and technology through a multidisciplinary selection of contemporary African works. Embracing a decolonial approach to storytelling, the showcase reimagines African spiritual practices using both traditional and digital mediums, offering an interactive experience for in-person and virtual audiences.
Premiering April 23rd as part of the Harvard Divinity School’s Evolution of Spirituality Conference. This solo showcase by visual artist Data Oruwari offers an early glimpse into her forthcoming exhibition Echoes of the Nile through a virtual presentation of select works from a 44-piece oracle deck commissioned by Abusua Pa Publishing and inspired by the cosmic laws of Ma’at.

Co-curated by OSENGWA and the OTHERWISE COLLECTIVE, Erudite was an immersive fusion of art, fashion, music and tech featuring visual, digital and sound artists – Elfreda Dali, Tierra Armstrong, Yusuff Aina Abogunde, Donna Duke, Tomi Thomas (visual debut), Yadichinma Ukoha-Kalu, Jonathan Chambalin, Niyi Okeowo and Yinka Bernie.
Immerse yourself in a vibrant cultural exploration through the distinct lenses of renowned photographers Reginald Boateng and Joseph Abbey-Mensah. This captivating exhibition, held at Osengwa Stays (Bai’s House and Bamboo House), showcases Boateng’s dynamic iPhone stills, echoing the rich patterns of Ghana’s iconic “Kente” fabric, and Abbey-Mensah’s intimate portrayals of Accra’s community traditions.
Osengwa partners with Kuma Nation, a collective of non traditional artists, to host Panorama, a truly one of a kind street and contemporary art viewing.
Featuring live art installations, exhibitions from 12 internationally recognized African artists including Osa 7, Data Oh, Yannis Davy and others.
This showcase explores the intersection of art and augmented reality (AR). The artworks exhibited today are printed digital creations infused with embedded AR. This means that when you scan the artworks with a compatible smartphone or tablet, you will see them come to life in augmented reality.

Africa Fashion Week Los Angeles (AFWLA) is a unique and innovative event focused on bridging the gap between US buyers and African designers and artists. Featured in the AFWLA 2016 runway show and art exhibitions, OSENGWA served as artist representative, stylist and curator for it’s collective of fashion brands and visual artists.
