Faaji is a vibrant celebration of Neo African artistry, music, and communal creativity, designed to usher in the new year with an unforgettable cultural experience. Hosted at the eclectic Ilé MIMU, this event is a cornerstone of OSENGWA’s annual tradition of bringing its creative community together.
It also honors the birthday of OSENGWA’s founder, Seju Alero Mike, embodying the spirit of collaboration, inspiration, and artistic expression. Attendees will be immersed in a multifaceted experience that includes:
- Captivating Music Performances: A dynamic lineup featuring Dap and other talented artists, interwoven with intimate Q&A sessions that reveal their creative journeys and artistic visions.
- Interactive Artistic Exploration: Led by Rekha, this live session invites guests to co-create bespoke MIMU-inspired coasters, blending creativity with hands-on participation.
- Cultural Gastronomy: A curated menu showcasing suya, guine fowl, chin chin, and sugar-coated groundnuts, complemented by premium beverages provided by MIMU.
- Artwork Showcases: Rekha’s stunning artworks displayed in a dedicated exhibit area, enriching the event’s visual narrative.
