Inspired by the extravagance and beauty of Black hair, “Don’t Touch My Hair” focuses on the significance of hair in the Black community. Hair is an important aspect of Black culture & history, and within the Black culture, hair plays a significant role in indicating an individual’s social status, tribe, affiliations, and family ties.
