Seju Alero Mike is the Founder and Artistic Director of OSENGWA, a creative enterprise rooted in contemporary African art, design, and cultural expression. Her curatorial practice spans themes of migration, identity, self-expression, and spiritual inquiry—guided by a desire to build meaningful bridges between the continent and its diaspora.
At the heart of her work is a deep intentionality and a commitment to reimagining how African heritage is understood, experienced, and carried forward. Seju explores how we define ourselves, and how we are defined by the societies we navigate—curating experiences that interrogate, affirm, and expand identity across borders. Through OSENGWA, she nurtures artists who push the boundaries of form and meaning, embracing innovation and technology as tools for cultural storytelling, experimentation, and deeper connection.
