Terna Iwar is a Nigerian photographer and art director whose practice centers around identity and form. His early exposure to Tiv dance narrative and interactions with diverse segments of the Nigerian populace has imbued him with a deep appreciation for the transitory nature of the human form and thought. He blends the intimacy of portraiture and a minimalist approach inspired by his background in design, to create images that are characterized by stellar composition, sensitivity and depth.
