The universal angst and uncertainty from the pandemic has left an unease that is the catalyst behind Erudite. The artists in this exhibition aim to express a part of their individual human experiences that possess divine understandings of themselves and the world around them.
It is an immersive experience exploring the subject of simultaneous introspection and retrospection. It illustrates a state of advanced consciousness and explores various forms of omniscience as depicted by each artist. Here each participating artist documents their mental metamorphosis influenced by the dawn of the 2020 pandemic.
Erudite features the work of multi-disciplinary artist Elfreda Fakoya and company. Exhibiting artists in company include; Tierra Armstrong, Yusuff Aina Abogunde, Donna Duke, Niyi Okeowo, Tomi Thomas, Yadichinma Ukoha-Kalu and Jonathan Chambalin.
Erudite is co-curate by Elfreda Fakoya and Seju Alero Mike of OSENGWA.
